Portfolio of game development projects by Yousef AlShaikh.
Hi, I’m Yousef, I am an experienced Game Programmer with a Master's in Advanced Computer Science from the University of Leeds and a strong drive for developing engaging games. I have been developing games since 2016 and started developing games professionally in 2022.
I am currently taking on freelance projects, which allows me to expand my skills and work on a variety of game development projects. I’m the developer for Kaizen, managing everything from datastores and anti-cheat to animation systems, UI/UX, character customization, and internal tooling.
During my free time, I enjoy recreating mechanics from existing games as a way to learn and polish my skills. A lot of my development time is working on features for Kaizen, but I also have several personal projects in development along with participating in several game jams.
